OUR STORY
The Flathead Warming Center saves lives and LINKs our unhoused neighbors to the tools and resources needed to move beyond homelessness. Soles of the Flathead Dancing with the Stars is a local star-studded dance competition to raise the funds needed to care for our neighbors. Whether we are talking about "soles" or "souls", one thing's for sure, "We take care of each other in the Flathead." Your contribution makes you a part of our story and together, we get to help change the stories of several people in our community who are hurting.

HOW DO WE DO THIS?
We are a part of the solution in our community.We welcome people inside to warmth and safety, just as they are. We are low-barrier, however we are not low-standards. Everyone has expectations to maintain a safe shelter. Everyone is held accountable. It is a person's behavior that determines their stay. WE ARE MORE THAN A BED. We are more than just a coat. We are much more than just "well-intended". We actively bring our community's professional resources and services inside the Warming Center to LINK our guests to the tools and resources needed to move beyond homelessness. It is best practice to provide resources in the same location where individuals' basic needs are met. This is exactly what we do inside the Flathead Warming Center. We continue to see success.
