Beyond the Burn Foundation, formerly Sons of the Flag, was founded in 2012. Our mission is to support survivors and empower communities through direct relief, strategic investments in burn care research, and partnerships that improve outcomes for those affected by burn trauma. 

Slogan: 

“Stronger Than Before”

• How do y'all do that? We provide tangible relief for today and fund fellowships for the future

• Tangible relief? It could be Direct support ($), burn camps, facilities improvements, partnered support groups, etc. 

• Why Fellowships? We're incentivizing Burn care specialty and building relationships with the ones at the forefront of medical advancements. 

Vision Statement: 

A world where every survivor is supported beyond the burn and empowered to move from injury to lifelong healing through access, community, and innovation.

• How do you get there?  No one truly heals alone... It takes community over time... and, we're intentionally investing in ways that produce tangible results and building relationships with trusted partners.
