Swaveway Playaz is more than a basketball program; it is a pathway to purpose, discipline, and opportunity for young men ages 8 to 17. What began with a single team, the Swaveway Playaz 2029, has grown into a powerful movement rooted in brotherhood, resilience, and belief. Over the past three years, this founding team has shown remarkable dedication and unity, earning the opportunity to compete on a national stage.

In less than a year, that same vision has expanded into over six teams, bringing together athletes from diverse backgrounds, including international players, all united by a shared passion for the game and a drive to succeed. Each player represents more than talent; they carry stories of perseverance, ambition, and the desire for something greater.

Many of our athletes come from underserved urban communities, where access to resources and exposure is limited. For them, Swaveway Playaz is not just a team — it’s a lifeline, a family, and a chance to dream bigger. With continued support from our community, sponsors, and donors, we can provide these young men with opportunities to travel, compete, and grow both on and off the court.
