This is a community fundraiser for Soul Fire Experiences (Organizer of Ecstatic Dance Arlington & Soul Flow Events) to co-create these magical, healing event experiences by crowdsourcing venue rental costs and community scholarships. This will make our events sustainable and accessible for all community members, regardless of their financial means, and alleviate the financial burden on the organizers who pay for the event space rentals and all the supplies necessary to make events special from their own pockets, with a lot of time, energy, and risk involved. 

Soul Fire Experiences (the company and organizer behind Ecstatic Dance Arlington & Soul Flow Events) is responsible for creating local DMV conscious events that focus on community healing through alcohol-free experiences fusing dance, meaningful group discussions, sound healing, visual art, embodiment & somatic exercises, and charity fundraisers (usually with tea and elixir bars) to create spaces for people to connect and co-regulate their nervous systems in community that aren't focused on intoxicating and overstimulating spaces. We always create a secondary space at our events called the "chill-out" space with lower stimulation lighting, cozy pillows, and blankets for low-volume conversation or a place to rest, focusing on the needs of our neurodivergent community and people with different sensory and physical needs. We also celebrate and center other artists and creatives with vending opportunities with low-to-no cost vendor fees and frequently host guest DJs and facilitators from around the country and the world (with special emphasis on uplifting women/femme and BIPOC community facilitators), to uplift everyone's talents and create more safe, supportive spaces where people can express whatever lights their soul on fire

A centerpiece of all of our community events is creating financial accessibility options and volunteer opportunities for people to attend events that may not otherwise have the financial means to access these important healing, regulating, and connection spaces. This fundraiser is crucial in funding our scholarships and financial accessibility options in the future. The funds raised will also support the organizers in venue rental fees, so we can continue to meet our obligations to current venues and expand our events to larger event spaces that can fit everyone who would like to attend. 

This is a humble ask for community financial support to ensure that these event spaces can continue to make an important impact in our local communities and potentially expand to other communities to bring a long-lasting impact to the collective.
