Soul Food Cypher (SFC) is a ten-year-old nonprofit organization that utilizes the power of freestyle Rap and lyricism to transform individuals and communities. SFC showcases the positive aspects of Rap through our Cypher events, performances, and community outreach. Our aim is to provide lyricists (Rappers) with a safe and nurturing environment where their voice and artistry can grow. By fostering an ecosystem of membership, paid performance opportunities, and youth programming, SFC aspires to solidify the art of freestyling as a genuine art form within the wider artistic community.

On the eve of our tenth anniversary, SFC is raising needed funds to take us into our next decade of service. Help us ensure this rich craft and tradition of freestyle lyricism survives, thrives, and can be passed down to the next generation.
