Soulstride Sanctuary was born from a shared dream: to create a place where horses and humans could heal, learn, and grow together. We saw the quiet strength of draft horses who had given everything to serve humans, only to find themselves discarded when their bodies grew tired. We knew they deserved more.

Our mission is to provide rescue, rehabilitation, and a safe haven for draft horses in need, while also creating programs that support human healing. Through equine-assisted learning, somatic experiences, nature-based education, and community-centered wellness, we’ll offer spaces where people can reconnect with themselves through the grounded presence of horses.

Each horse that joins our herd will receive the care, space, and dignity they’ve always deserved; fresh hay, open pastures, healing hands, and compassionate companionship. Some will find their forever home here at the sanctuary, while others will be lovingly adopted into new families who share our values of compassion and respect.

This campaign, Stride Toward Sanctuary, marks our first chapter. With your help, we’ll secure the funds needed for hay, feed, veterinary care, fencing, and safe transport for our first rescued horses. And thanks to a generous supporter, every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000.
