Annual Goal: $50,000 to Sustain the Heart of the Sanctuary

At Soulstride Sanctuary, our mission begins with rescuing vulnerable draft horses from high-risk situations and giving them a safe, stable, and deeply respectful home. From there, healing flows outward — into our community, our educational programs, and the transformative human-equine experiences we offer.

The General Fund is the financial foundation that keeps the sanctuary running.
Our annual goal of $50,000 covers the very basics of responsible, ethical sanctuary care, including:

• Rent and land use fees that allow the sanctuary to exist

• High-quality forage and feed for our draft horses

• Routine veterinary and farrier care

• Supplements, minerals, enrichment, and daily supplies

• Safe fencing, gates, shelter maintenance, and improvements

• Insurance and essential operational costs

This fund ensures that the horses in our care have stability, safety, and nourishment — the non-negotiables of sanctuary life.

🐴 What about rescues, emergency vet care, or special projects?

Because unexpected medical needs and rescue missions can be large and unpredictable, those will be supported through separate, transparent campaigns so donors always know exactly where their contribution is going.

But this General Fund is our lifeline.
It’s what allows us to say “yes” to helping horses…
what keeps the sanctuary doors open…
and what sustains the daily rhythm of care that every horse deserves.
