Help Us Fund 10 Americans Relocation to Thailand for Healing & Transformation

Soul Thai Fellowship is a donor-funded initiative created by Kim Brio-Cox and Moses “SloowMoee” Cox to help ten Americans reset their lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our mission is simple: remove first-year financial barriers so fellows can relocate responsibly, integrate with cultural humility, and begin real nervous-system healing in a safer, slower, more affordable environment.

This is not a school, retreat, or Thai business. We are a U.S.–based media and community project. Fellows live independently (no group housing) and come together weekly for community dinners and support.

What your donation makes possible

Your gift directly powers the first cohort’s first year only:

  • Flights to Thailand (one-way or round-trip, as appropriate for the fellow’s plan)

  • Housing stipend (fellows choose modest, legal housing that fits local norms)

  • Living stipend (basic first-year expenses so fellows can stabilize and integrate)

  • Weekly community dinners in Chiang Mai hosted by Kim & Moses (connection, accountability, and care)

  • Core Asset Fellows who support the cohort and community:

    • Teacher/Homeschool support

    • Licensed therapist or wellness practitioner

    • Chef for weekly dinners and food systems

    • Videographer/Content creator

    • Digital marketing specialist

    • Social media manager

  • Storytelling & production so the wider community can learn from the journey (gear, editing, distribution)

  • Operations & compliance to ensure cultural respect and alignment with Thai law

Fellows never pay to participate. Support is provided for the first year only and is contingent on available funding.

What fellows give back

To keep this movement accessible and transparent, each fellow commits to:

  • One digital storytelling piece per week (video, audio, or written) that documents real costs, culture, healing, and lessons learned

  • Weekly community dinners for check-ins, peer support, and cultural humility practice

  • Respectful integration—learning basic Thai, honoring local etiquette, and following Thai laws and visa requirements

Why Thailand—and why Chiang Mai?

Environment matters. Chiang Mai offers a calmer pace, strong community rhythms, accessible healthcare, vibrant markets, and a safety baseline that helps nervous systems shift out of survival mode. The goal is not vacation; it is stability, belonging, and healing.

How the Fellowship is funded

Three streams power the cohort:

  1. Individual donations here on Givebutter (one-time and monthly)

  2. BIGO Live downloads/engagement via our unique link (attention converted into funding)

  3. Brand sponsorships and grants aligned with our values

Transparency & guardrails

  • We publish donor updates and cohort progress, including costs and lessons learned

  • We are U.S.–based; we do not provide legal, immigration, medical, or financial advice

  • Fellows are responsible for maintaining legal visa status and complying with Thai law

  • We grow slowly and ethically; future cohorts are not guaranteed and depend on funding and impact

Thank you

Your generosity removes first-year barriers for real people who are ready to relocate with humility, rebuild stability, and heal. Together we are proving that when environment, community, and support align, change is possible—and sustainable.
