PRODUCER (Donate $500) - You will receive a Producer credit on the film.
EP (Donate $1000+) - You will receive an Executive Producer credit on the film AND an invite to festival screenings.

Dos Rios is about two San Francisco millennials, Caleb and Tess, who hope to reconnect after a loss by renting a yurt in the heart of the Emerald Triangle. But the yurt isn't at all what they expected -- it's a shrine to the divine feminine ... with no internet.

Cut off from the rest of the world, Tess and Caleb have very different reactions. Where Caleb sees rugged beauty and new life, Tess sees danger and decay. The first night, as they try to make love, Tess is startled by a mysterious scream from the woods that continues to haunt her.

The next morning, Caleb sets off to build a fire -- a task which takes him all day and leads him into a potentially dangerous situation. Meanwhile, Tess, struggling to find the “right” way to grieve, sets off into the forest to find the source of the scream she heard. What she finds there is not what she expected.

THE FOX TEAM

TORI KEENAN-ZELT (Writer, Director) is a New York-based, award-winning playwright who also writes for the screen. Her plays are American horror stories that masquerade as comedies and illuminate the dark corners of women’s lives that are rarely discussed. Recent: How the Baby Died (Bay Area Playwrights Fest, Ingram New Works), Seph (Araca Project, Fresh Ground Pepper, Princess Grace Finalist), Air Space (Kilroys List, Ingram New Works), Truth/Dare (Project Y, NYITA Nominee, Kilroys List), How to Be a Widow (Playing on Air), Episode #121: Catfight! (Yale Cabaret). She has written for Colonial Williamsburg’s Emmy Award-winning PBS education series and is currently developing new plays with New Georges and SF Playhouse. AB, Harvard. MFA, NYU Tisch Asia (Singapore).

LAUREN ENGLISH (Producer, Tess) is a native to the Bay Area, and she is a devoted member of the local theater community. A founding member at The SF Playhouse, she served as the resident casting director for the better part of a decade. Lauren holds an MFA from New York University, and as a performer, she has worked extensively off-Broadway, regionally, and locally in the Bay Area. She now works as a performance coach in the nonprofit sector, finance, and tech. In her spare time, she produces films with Peridot Film Collective and Hungry Moon Productions.

LUCAS VERBRUGGHE (Producer, Caleb) is an actor, teacher, and filmmaker. He has appeared on stage on and off-Broadway as well as on the West Coast. Most recently, he was nominated for an Ovation award for his performance in Icebergs at the Geffen Theater in Los Angeles. He has appeared in various other film and television shows and can be seen in the upcoming film Your Ears Shall Bleed. Lucas is a Co-Producer of Hungry Moon Productions as well as Artistic Director of the Dos Rios Retreat, which fosters new work by emerging theater makers. He has an MFA from NYU.

ADAM ELDER (Cinematographer) is a Bay Area filmmaker, coach, and actor. He currently teaches filmmaking skills in the ACT MFA program, as well as privately. These last two years, Adam has overseen the remote MFA Showcases for ACT, Columbia University, Brown Trinity, and The New School and has filmed hundreds of actor auditions for film, television, and theater. His latest short film, Wooden Sea, will premiere on March 4, 2022.
