SoundBoard Scholars is a dedicated fund designed to support emerging music industry professionals from underrepresented communities as they pursue careers in music. Whether participants are working toward music education, internships, or entry-level roles, the fund provides financial assistance that helps remove barriers to opportunity and ensures talented young people can continue building their careers.

Funds raised support educational expenses and low-wage early-career industry placements, helping bridge the critical gap between learning about the industry and successfully entering it.

A portion of SoundBoard Scholars funding also supports our Student Advisory Board, a group of emerging music professionals who work directly with SoundBoard to provide real-time insight into the challenges faced by underrepresented young people pursuing careers in the music industry. Board members receive small stipends for their contributions, ensuring their voices and lived experiences continue to shape programs that better support the next generation of music leaders.
