Founded in 2010 by a group of dedicated South Floridians, South Florida Wildlands Association has been a strong voice for the protection of wildlife in our region for over 15 years. While the species we seek to protect are beautiful and unique - from American crocodiles and corals to Florida black bears and panthers - the threats they face are simply enormous. From the days of fur traders and plume hunters to modern day developers, the relentless drive to exploit our region's natural resources has never let up. We don't sugarcoat the problem wildlife in South Florida face. But with expertise in law, geography, ecology and politics, South Florida Wildlands provides the strongest defense we can of our region's precious wildlife. Your support makes that difficult work possible.
