It was a bright and bustling morning in St. George as we gathered for a networking breakfast. Among the friendly faces, we met Rosa, a warm and energetic young woman who was busy setting up for the event. Employed by the facility, she was tasked with ensuring everything ran smoothly—from setup to takedown and cleanup.

As we introduced ourselves and mentioned we were from Help Me Grow, Rosa’s face lit up with excitement. She eagerly shared her story, one that left us deeply moved.

Years ago, Rosa’s first child showed signs of delayed development. Despite her growing concerns, she was often dismissed by family and doctors who told her there was nothing to worry about. But Rosa’s intuition told her otherwise. Determined to find answers, she discovered Help Me Grow on her own.

Through our services, she completed an Ages and Stages Questionnaire, which highlighted areas where her child needed support. With guidance from a Parent Support Specialist, Rosa was able to secure early intervention for her child.

“Help Me Grow changed my life,” Rosa said, her voice full of gratitude. “My child got the help they needed because of you. I tell everyone I know about your amazing services.”

Her words were a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Rosa’s journey, from feeling dismissed to becoming an advocate for her child and others, left us inspired to continue making a difference in the lives of families like hers.
