Big news! The LGBTQ+ Community Center of Darke County is growing! We have expanded our space and now have a kitchen, dedicated food pantry, and more room to hang out, plus an extra bathroom and storage. We couldn't be happier!
Big changes come with bigger needs. Having a bigger space means our rent and utility costs have increased and our need for volunteers is expanding. To continue serving the community, we have set a goal of $1000 in recurring monthly donations. This will cover our rent, providing us with some breathing room to expand programming, cover other costs, and continue to build this amazing community space.
We are run completely by volunteers and donations. The Center exists because you have helped us make it so. Let's keep going and keep growing.
We received an amazing donation of Darke County Pride hats that are made in the USA by union workers, and we want to share those hats with you! Want one of these limited-edition hats? Here's how to get one:
We have multiple styles and colors, but they are all AMAZING. Hats will be available for pick up during open hours on Saturdays (11-1) or by appointment.
Whether you can volunteer your time, donate once, donate monthly, or even share our social media posts-- there is space for you at the Center!
