Help Advance SPATA Research. Bring Hope to Families.

For families affected by rare SPATA-related disorders, answers can be difficult to find. Research offers hope for a better understanding of these conditions, improved care, and the possibility of future treatments.

The SPATA Foundation is dedicated to advancing research, supporting scientific collaboration, and connecting families affected by SPATA-related disorders. Through partnerships with researchers and dedicated families around the world, we are working to move science forward and create new possibilities for the future.

Our work has already helped launch three research projects, establish a patient registry, advance gene therapy research, and build connections between families and scientists. We know of fewer than 200 affected families across 23 countries, making every research breakthrough and every new connection especially meaningful.

But we cannot do this alone.

Your donation helps sustain vital research efforts, support collaborations, and bring us closer to understanding SPATA-related disorders. Every gift—large or small—helps build the foundation for future discoveries.

Together, we can turn uncertainty into understanding, strengthen the SPATA community, and create more possibilities for the families who need them.

Donate today and help move SPATA research forward.

Thank you for being part of our mission and helping build a brighter future for SPATA families.
