Thank you to all our supporters and attendees. We look forward to being with you next month. RSVP tickets are now available for the companion event, Dark and Tender Workshop with Aaron Johnson, April 27 at LANGSTON, 9:30-11:30am. Join Dark and Tender director Aaron Johnson for an experiential workshop easing into the practices introduced by The Chronically UnderTouched (CUT) Project in the short film Dark and Tender, to dismantle the Black Brute archetype and barriers for platonic closeness. We'll do some singing, co-writing, co-listening as on-ramps to what's possible in day-long or weekend Dark and Tender workshops. For this workshop, everyone is welcome, and Black masculine folks are centered. This workshop is free and open to the public. RSVP. Presented in partnership with the Seattle Black Film Festival and The Seattle Public Library with support from the Seattle Public Library Foundation and LANGSTON. PS - Early RSVPs for the April 26 event may have noted the event in Mountain Time. Please note, the event is at 6:30-8:30pm PDT (Doors at 6:05pm). Apologies for any confusion.
