For most of us, Christmas means gathering around a table with the people we love. It means familiar faces, favorite traditions, laughter, and the comfort of being home.

But for our deployed service members, Christmas can look very different.

While families and friends are celebrating together, many of our military personnel will be thousands of miles from home—missing Christmas morning, family traditions, holiday meals, and the people they love most.

That’s why Sponsor a Hero for the Holidays is so special.

Your gift helps Military Missions send a care package to a deployed service member as a tangible reminder that someone back home is thinking about them, appreciating their sacrifice, and remembering them this Christmas.

Inside each package are practical items, treats and a little bit of encouragement—but what we hope they feel when they open it is something much bigger:

You are appreciated.
You are not forgotten.

We recently changed the way our Sponsor a Hero program works because of expanded customs requirements for individual packages. While we are truly sorry to lose the personal Shop & Ship experience our supporters have enjoyed, we're grateful that we can continue the heart of the program in a way our volunteer team can manage and sustain.

Your generosity helps make sure that even when a service member can't be home for Christmas, a little piece of home can find its way to them.

Help us send Christmas across the miles.

Sponsor a Hero. Send a little love. Remind someone serving far from home that they are not forgotten.

Thank you for helping Military Missions support and honor those who serve.
