Every Widow Deserves a Seat in the Circle.

The #NextYou Experience Scholarship Fund helps ensure that financial circumstances are never the reason a widow misses the opportunity to heal, connect, and discover what's next.

Your generosity provides scholarships for widows to attend the Real Widowhood #NextYou Experience Retreat, where they receive practical grief tools, experience genuine community, and begin building a future beyond survival.

To protect the dignity and privacy of every scholarship recipient, names, photographs, and identifying details remain confidential. Every widow participates equally, regardless of how her retreat experience was funded.

Your Gift Creates More Than a Retreat Experience

Your investment helps provide:

💜 A safe and supportive community
💜 Practical tools for navigating grief
💜 Time and space dedicated to personal healing
💜 Meaningful relationships with other widows
💜 Hope, purpose, and a vision for what's next

Because healing doesn't happen in isolation.

Every widow deserves a seat in the circle.

I am a 49-year-old widow and the mother of three children. My husband was the kindest, most loving man I have ever known. He embraced my two older children as his own, and together we welcomed our miracle son, who is now 14 years old and looks just like his father. After my husband survived a heart attack in 2014, we believed we had many more years together. Instead, on June 15, 2018, I received the phone call every spouse fears. He never made it home. In an instant, our family's future changed forever. Eight years later, my son and I are still learning how to navigate life without him while making sure grief does not define our future.

For years, my priority has been helping my family survive, often placing my own healing last. The Real Widowhood #NextYou Experience Retreat would give me something I have never had: a safe place to focus on my healing alongside women who truly understand this journey. There, I will gain practical tools to recognize where grief may still be holding me back, discover what my next chapter can look like, and return home better equipped to support my son, serve my community, and move forward with hope. Your generosity is more than a scholarship to attend a retreat; it is an investment in a mother, a family, and a widow determined to transform loss into a future filled with purpose.
