When Misty came to the shelter, she had a strange lump on her arm. She was taken to Lakes Area Veterinary Hospital, where it was discovered that a bullet had gotten lodged there!
Judging from the marks on her shoulder, our best guess is that the bullet (a .380 or 9 mm), was shot into the air and entered into her shoulder when it fell.
Otherwise, there would have been a lot more damage!
She's healing well, and you can barely even seen the bump anymore. We're so glad that she's not having to deal with it anymore!
