Cedric's Story

Cedric was being severely neglected and allowed to have dogs attack him. His 2 brothers were brutally mauled to death by 2 mastiffs. A good samaritan stepped in and offered to take the last survivor (Cedric) in order to save his life. He was emaciated and missing areas of hair due to the attacks. They nursed him back to health! Unfortunately, he was unable to join their herd due to their 2 female goats picking on him relentlessly. They wanted to keep this sweet boy, but after months of trying and winter looming...they decided to seek refuge for him elsewhere.

Cedric's story is similar to Stan's. He was a goat we welcomed in April 2025. His brothers were killed by a bear and he was alone and needing companionship. Sadly, Stan had an aggressive cancer and quickly passed within a week of being in sanctuary. We feel Stan wanted us to help Cedric due to multiple signs we witnessed. We have had multiple "deja vu" moments since Cedric's arrival, which only confirms this guy was meant to come here. Join Cedric in his new life by sponsoring!

What are the benefits of sponsorship?

A Welcome Packet will be mailed to the recipient. This includes a sponsorship certificate personalized to the recipient, letter about your animal and stickers
You will receive seasonal updates on your animal (4 times a year!) via email. Only those involved with sponsorship will receive the one of a kind messages and behind the scenes content about their furry or hairy companion.
This can be a great gift for your friends and family! You can give and personalize the message to whomever you choose. We will mail and email it to them directly.

First dibs on registering for all of our events. You have an opportunity to registe early before the public. This ensures you can reserve your spot because our events usually have a capacity limitation.
Priority booking for farm visits and expereinces. We will also be flexibule with you for sanctuary visits. We will communicate all of this via email.
