Sponsor Lily the Goat

Lily's Story

Lily is a young la mancha/alpine hybrid goat who was rescued by the MSCPA Nevins Farm in Methuen, MA. She was in a hoarding situation with about 40 other goats. Watch the news story here: https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/boston/news/mspca-farm-animal-rescue-ayer/ They were rescued in April 2024 when she was only about 1 year old. When Lily was rescued she was unfortunately pregnant as well. She gave birth to her kid in foster and weaned her little girl by July 2024. Lily was placed with other goats but everyone began picking on her. Lily is small due to her growth being stunted from poor nutrition when young. She was butted away from food and people. Lily loves attention and people, but has not been able to enjoy these things fully due to being bullied.

She is joining Sybill, who is a lone goat. We took in Sybill off the streets of Weare, NH. She was very sick, but thankfully recovered and now needs a friend. They both have not had a true friend, so we think Lily and Sybill will make the perfect goatie pair!

The first 3 people to sponsor Lily for $10 a month (or more) or $120 per year (or more) will receive a Lily plushie with their welcome packet!

What are the benefits of sponsorship?

  • A Welcome Packet will be mailed to the recipient. This includes a sponsorship certificate personalized to the recipient, letter about your animal and stickers

  • You will receive seasonal updates on your animal (4 times a year!) via  email. Only those involved with sponsorship will receive the one of a kind messages and behind the scenes content about their furry or hairy companion.

  • This can be a great gift for your friends and family! You can give and personalize the message to whomever you choose. We will even email it to them directly.

Additional Perks:

  • First dibs on registering for all of our events. You have an opportunity to register 1 week early before the public. This ensures you can reserve your spot because our events usually have a capacity limitation.

  • Priority booking for farm visits and donkey treks: Once we open for the season in Spring, you will have 2 weeks to pre-register for these experiences before the general public. We also try to be flexible with our sponsors whenever possible for farm visits.
