Lily's Story

Lily is a young la mancha/alpine hybrid goat who was rescued by the MSCPA Nevins Farm in Methuen, MA. She was in a hoarding situation with about 40 other goats. When Lily was rescued she was unfortunately pregnant as well. She gave birth to her kid in foster and weaned her little girl by July 2024. Lily was placed with other goats but everyone began picking on her. Lily is small due to her growth being stunted from poor nutrition when young. She was butted away from food and people. Lily loves attention and people, but has not been able to enjoy these things fully due to being bullied. 

She joined Sybill, who was our lone goat, in September 2024. We took in Sybill off the streets of Weare, NH. She was very sick, but thankfully recovered and needed a friend. They both have not had a true friend…until now!
