Sponsor Molly the Mini Highland Cow

Molly is a miniature highland cow who was saved from a hoarding case in New Hampshire. There were over 40 animals living in "horrifying" conditions at this home. Many did not have food or water and were crammed into small spaces. There were too many animals for the NHSPCA to take in, therefore local rescues stepped in to help. Molly was in protective custody at Live and Let Live (LLL) Farm Rescue in Chichester, NH starting in September 2023 while waiting for the outcome of the case proceedings. She was finally released by the previous owner in March 2024. Molly has been a lone cow and was the ONLY cow that was rescued. It is unclear if she had a friend at any time or if she was just alone. Cows are herd animals, so having friends of the same species is very important for their wellbeing. She was underweight and our friends at LLL helped her get back on track with her health. She will be arriving to Bark and Bray Farm Animal Sanctuary in May to join her forever herd with Marge the yak and Maxime the cow. She will finally have some cow gal friends!
