For many LGBTQIA+ adults, prom wasn't a celebration – it was a space where they felt unseen, excluded, or unsafe. Queerli’s Pride Prom is a chance to rewrite that story. It's an evening of affirmation, joy, and visibility for adults in this community who never got the prom they deserved. This intergenerational celebration welcomes everyone, from 21-year-olds just beginning their journey, to elders in their 70s+ who never had the chance to dance freely as themselves. And it’s not just for the LGBTQIA+ community! Allies are welcome and encouraged to attend and help create the supportive, inclusive environment we all need. There is nothing like this for people over 30 on Long Island.

Your sponsorship doesn’t just fund a beautiful night. It fuels Queerli’s mission to create safer spaces across Suffolk County through queer-led events and community programs. It also supports our newest initiative to provide financial assistance for LGBTQIA+ individuals facing socioeconomic barriers to affirming care, second-parent adoption, legal name changes, and relocation from unsupportive homes.
