Spotlight 2026 Sponsor Campaign

In 2025, a group of students revived the long-absent "Rendezvous" showcase that had once been a staple of the Central High School music department. The result was the "Spotlight" musical showcase, providing a platform for students to perform onstage, as well as run the technical aspects of theater production. In 2026, Spotlight Musical Theater Club was established as a year-long extra-curricular club for students to work together to create an entirely student-run performance-based showcase. From lighting, sound, and set development to choreography, wardrobe, hair, and make-up, these students have collaborated to learn and perform every aspect of this showcase. This year's showcase features student performances of songs from a wide variety of musical theater productions, ranging from classics, like "The Sound of Music" and "Anything Goes," to modern and unexpected shows such as, "Wicked," "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "The Muppet Movie."
