Help us rid the world of loneliness

Loneliness is a public health crisis. The U.S. Surgeon General has called it an epidemic, and the World Health Organization estimates it affects 1 in 6 people worldwide. It’s linked to more than 871,000 deaths every year. Research shows that the strongest protection against loneliness is a close, compatible partner: someone you can really open up to.

GoodDate is a free matchmaking platform run by Public Dating Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 33-3270168). It has no ads, no premium tier, and doesn’t sell your data. Members tell us what they value, what they need and what their dealbreakers are, and we match them with people who fit. Fewer matches, but better ones. Most dating apps profit from keeping you single. For us, success is when you delete the app because you found your person.

A matchmaking platform is only as good as the people on it, and right now our biggest obstacle is reach. Your gift will help us:

Spread the word with outreach and advertising, so people who’ve given up on “the apps” know there’s a free alternative that’s on their side.
Grow our membership in more cities and towns, so every new member has compatible people nearby to meet.
Keep GoodDate free for everyone, with no paywalls or upsells, ever.

Every new member makes the platform better for everyone already on it. Help us bring in more people, and make more of them a little less alone.
