This May, our board and staff are committing to a personal challenge to deepen our connection to nature and the mission we serve.

The Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education (AEOE)'s board and staff work to advance the impact of environmental and outdoor education across California by connecting educational providers, building professional expertise, and championing environmental literacy and outdoor learning. For the month of May, we are each committing to a personal challenge in line with this mission.

Why Outdoor Education Matters

Outdoor learning transforms lives. When young people connect with nature, they develop curiosity, resilience, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. AEOE is working to ensure that every student in California has access to meaningful learning experiences outdoors.
