WHAT CAUSE DOES THIS SUPPORT?

Through theatre and popular culture, we are spreading an impactful message of human flourishing. FELLOW HUMAN: a play on mass human flourishing is a not-for-profit theatre show in development for 2025 premiere in New York City. FELLOW HUMAN is part of a global movement, issuing from a vast academic field, focused on human flourishing. FELLOW HUMAN is fiscally sponsored by the New York arts non-profit organization Participatory Safety, Inc. All contributions to this benefit event are tax deductible as allowed by law.

WHAT IS HUMAN FLOURISHING?

Human flourishing has been discussed and debated since at least the times of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. There is a substantial and growing body of academic research on human flourishing. Human flourishing is a nexus of mental health, human relationships, meaningful experiences, and meaningful contribution in the world. As we articulate it in a very practical way in FELLOW HUMAN: a play on mass human flourishing, "You are flourishing when most of the areas of your life are working sufficiently for you, according to you... and you've developed the skills for resilience to navigate adversity." Flourishing is subjective -- which means yours is unique to you.
