Sakina Series is a space created for sisters to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with their faith. Each session will focus on real life challenges we face and explore them through an Islamic perspective. Stress can feel overwhelming but true peace (sakina) is always within reach 🤲🏻

Join us for Sakina Series: Part 1 – Navigating Stress, led by Wellness Counselor, Uzma Baig. Sis Uzma has over 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in academic settings. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics with a minor in Political Science from Queens College and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Virginia Tech University. She has completed additional training in ADHD, executive functioning, and brain development, اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ!

Together, we’ll explore what stress looks like in our daily lives and how we can navigate it through the guidance and wisdom of Islam. This session is designed to help you reconnect with your faith, gain practical tools, and cultivate a sense of inner calm and balance 🍃
