This year’s 48-hour gaming marathon means even more to us.

Normally, part of our marathon includes 24 hours of Mario... but this year marks 10 years since Sam’s accident, and because of that, we felt called to dedicate all 48 hours to Mario — the games he loved, the memories we hold close, and the fight to end Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

This marathon is about honoring Sam 💚💜, raising awareness, and standing with families who continue to face the reality of Duchenne every single day.

Duchenne takes so much from so many children and families. That is why we continue to support PPMD (Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy) and the work being done to fund research, advocate for families, and help move us closer to a cure.

We also want to say this clearly: after the fire our family experienced a little over a month ago, so many people poured out their hearts to support us. We will never forget that kindness. Because of that, this year is not about pressure. It is about purpose. If you choose to give, thank you. If you choose to watch, share, encourage, and help us spread awareness, that matters deeply too.

For 48 hours, we will play for Sam.
Play for awareness.
Play for the families still fighting.
Play for a cure.
Because every second matters.
