Join us for "A Night With The Stars" Fundraising Event to benefit Shining Star Children's Advocacy Center.  This fundraising event is a casual night out to enjoy music, food, fun, games, and silent and live auctions.  Entertainment will be provided by Buzzed By Sonset, a local rock band that plays covers from all decades.  A light taco bar dinner will be provided, with a live dessert and drink auction to follow.  Silent Auction, raffles, and games will be going throughout the night.  All proceeds from the event benefit Shining Star Children's Advocacy Center.  Shining Star CAC provides services to children and families in Ogle and Lee Counties who have been affected by abuse.  In 2022 over 200 children received services at Shining Star CAC such as child forensic interviews, counseling and therapeutic group services, court and community advocacy, and  specialized medical exams.  Shining Star CAC works with a multidisciplinary team to ensure victims of abuse receive a thorough investigation, and appropriate services to heal the trauma they may have endured.  Please join us for this special event on Aug. 5, 2023 from 5-9pm at the Dixon Elks Lodge (1279 Franklin Grove Rd.
