Giving Tuesday 2025
Your Impact In Action
Thanks to the generosity of our community, our rescue helped transform the lives of over 100 dogs since our inception in November 2024. About half of these dogs came from high kill shelters in rural areas and the other half were saved directly off the streets. All of these dogs once faced heartbreaking odds and now have futures filled with hope and love. Here are just a few of the lives transformed because of supporters like you:
- Delilah, a sweet older girl and one of the first dogs we rescued in November 2024. She was living in the woods in TX, underweight, with a skin infection and hair loss over most of her body. She was fostered back to health by her loving TX and East Coast fosters. Today she has a loving home in Virginia where her silly antics are appreciated and she is thriving.
- Toby, a younger guy was found roaming the streets of the Rio Grande Valley in TX constantly in the search for food. He was scraggly, starving, and hairless over most of his body. He arrived to his VA foster and blossomed into his beautiful brindle coat and kind, gentle demeanor. Toby is now living the good life in his adoptive home and has 2 new bestie dog siblings.
- Millie, the sweet older "owned" girl living in S TX with that huge fluid sac on her hind quarters. She was also one of our original rescues from November 2024. The fluid sac resolved once in foster care and on good food, supplements, and medication. She also battled urinary infections that were recurrent until just recently. She has put on significant weight and is absolutely beautiful now. Millie is still looking for her forever family now that she is healthy and ready to be adopted.

Join Us In Saving Lives
Your gift today will provide:
- Emergency medical care for dogs in crisis.
- Rehabilitation and care in foster homes to help them heal.
- Transport to the East Coast where more adopters are willing to provide loving homes.
We are an all volunteer based rescue. The majority of donations we receive are directed towards dog expenses. YTD only 4% of the donations we received were utilized for administrative expenses. This included insurance, shipping fees for medications, processing and bank fees, and software fees. Every other dollar raised was used directly for dogs in our care. This included all medical charges, food, boarding, transport, etc. Your donation today is to support future expenses for our dogs.
Meet Our Newest Dog In Need of Medical Care
This is Dolly. She was in a TX shelter and scheduled to be euthanized December 1. She has a fracture and is non weight-bearing on her back leg. It appears all she needs is a FHO, TLC, and time for rehabilitation. We decided to help her and give her a second start. She has a medical foster waiting for her to facilitate her surgery with our vet in VA and another foster waiting for her once the surgeon gives the all clear. We are anticipating about $4000 in medical bills for her.
