Our 'Shifting the Narrative on Everything Autism' community recognizes the urgent need to direct the SPOTLIGHT on under-represented Autistic youth. Therefore, we are making a documentary to provide young neurodivergent individuals the opportuniy to share their perspective. This docummentary will be showcased at schools, churches, after-school programs, and various other inclusive settings within the commuity.

Our goal is to be proactive about shifting the narrative so that today's neurodivergent youth can grow into the next generation of Autistic adults feeling safe and supported within inclusive community environments.

We are extremely thankful to have support from a professional filming crew! The crew has agreed to donate their time and talent to produce this documentary; however, there will be some production cost incurred. We need your support, committment and monetary donations to make this project a reality. We believe that together we can empower our neurodivergent youth with a level of self-acceptance, that shifts the perspective non-autistic peers have of their autistic peers.

Currently, there is a significant lack of story-telling from the perspective of Autistic individuals, ages 5-21, especially our black and brown neurodivergent youth. We want this documentary to demonstrate the importance of self-advocacy for Autistic youth, and how that advocacy can shape the perspective of their peers.

Our Autistic youth have the insight and the power to significantly Shift the Narrative around Everything Autism, for themselves and the generations to follow!
