The KPC is one of the many things that help make the Eastside such a wonderful and vibrant place to live and work! Like all small performance venues, KPC relies on the financial support of community to help supplement the operating budget and fund new programs.
One of the innovative new programs the KPC team introduced this year was the "Youth in Music Education" fund to help inspire the youth in our community to follow their passion in music.
This past July, the KPC Studios branch of the organization launched a new youth education initiative called Rock Show Production Camp. Kids aged 13-18 worked with our staff to operate all the lights, sound, and streaming equipment for a public School of Rock performance on the KPC stage. We have been dreaming of expanding our youth programming for years, and finally having the opportunity to do so in a very meaningful way has me very excited for the leaps and bounds we’re experiencing as an organization.
The “KPC Youth in Music Education Fund” is the area of need that Susi and I donated to this year. We invite you to join us to help grow this specific fund. You'll find a link to the site that shared the story of this new program. Footage from Rock Show Production Camp
