Who we are
The Alliance for American Leadership (https://A4AL.org/) is a nonpartisan political action committee dedicated to reforming global aid and restoring American leadership on the world stage. Our team spans all 50 states and works to engage lawmakers and the public in support of aid programs that fight poverty, strengthen alliances, and boost America's economy.
We’re powered entirely by volunteers - every member of our team serves without pay. Our coalition includes voices from USAID, Congress, the Pentagon, State, and over 80 college campuses. Together, we’re building a generation of informed, engaged leaders ready to make global aid a public priority. Reach out to [email protected] if you want to join our team.
The Crisis
On January 24, 2025, the United States cut off access to food, medicine, and education for 120 million people across the globe. Since then, over 500,000 lives have been lost - among them, Peter Donde, a 10-year-old boy who died after losing access to HIV medication.
Unless Congress restores these programs, a study in The Lancet warns that up to 14 million more lives could be lost by 2030.
We won't let that happen without a fight.
What We Do
A4AL drafts policy, lobbies Congress, mobilizes grassroots support, and backs the congressional campaigns of key Members of Congress who support foreign aid.
And it works
700 meetings with key congressional staffers.
850 advocates mobilized across all 50 states.
$400 million in global healthcare funding protected from rescissions.
80 campus chapters and growing.
Now, it’s time to grow each of our campus chapters and create a national movement.
The Road Trip
Our Executive Director, Asher Moss, will travel across America this spring - meeting students, organizing local events, and training the next generation of leaders in advocacy, communications, and civic engagement.
Each stop builds momentum. Together, they create a movement capable of reshaping America’s global role for decades to come.
This is grassroots diplomacy - powered by students, built on conviction, and driven by hope.
What Your Donation Supports
Every dollar goes directly toward the road trip, advocacy materials, and campaign contributions - not salaries or overhead.
Your support helps us:
Fuel the journey - gas, travel, lodging. (Reach out to [email protected] if you can host us for a night - we're seeking to cut costs as much as possible).
Host campus events - t-shirts, dorm room posters, and voter registration drives.
Train new advocates - workshops on advocacy, media, and global development policy.
Share stories nationwide - videos, digital updates, and local TV and radio appearances at every stop.
Our Goal: $2,000
We need to raise $2,000 to cover travel costs, digital outreach, and voter registration along the route.
Every contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar by supporters - doubling your impact and fueling twice as many miles, events, and advocates.
This is our moment to act. To lead with purpose. To show the world what American values truly mean.
Join us. Be the voice Congress can’t ignore.
