There's a gap in our community that forces people to make impossible choices.

No local cat rescue. Limited access to affordable spay/neuter services. An animal shelter without the capacity to accept cats.

That gap has forced cat parents to choose between their own basic needs and spay/neuter surgery.

That gap has contributed to the start of new community cat colonies.

That gap has forced compassionate members of our community to take matters into their own hands to care for community cats when no one else will.

CLAWS has stepped into that gap and we're asking you to join us.

Reducing the community cat population begins with:

The prevention of unwanted litters by providing assistance to cat owners who fall in the gap between qualifying for assistance and being able to easily afford it.
Providing TNR to control existing community cat colonies, and recruiting and supporting colony caregivers.
Fostering friendly community cats and kittens while collaborating with our local shelter, veterinarians, and rescues throughout the state to find them forever homes.

Your support helps CLAWS continue responding where the need is greatest — whether that means food, supplies, transportation, spay/neuter assistance, emergency support, outreach, education, or building the infrastructure needed to sustain this work long-term.
