Enter for a chance to win a beautiful handmade quilt created by the Loose Threads Quilt Guild in honor of Elly Simard and her legacy of kindness, creativity, and giving.

Elly Simard of Winthrop, Maine, was a member of the Loose Threads Quilters Chapter. She enjoyed kayaking, hiking, and taking long strolls, but to members of Loose Threads, she was an excellent seamstress, quilter, mentor, and friend. She shared many quilting tips and techniques with the group and was the inspiration behind this Star of Hope Quilt.

Since Elly donated many of her quilts to charities, after her passing in September 2025, Loose Threads decided to donate this quilt in her honor to PALS, an organization near and dear to her heart. Loose Threads members hope the recipient will enjoy it as much as the group enjoyed creating it with Elly.
