Instead of flowers, the family of Steve Zonta asked us if we, Collective Chicago could honor his memory and legacy by creating this fund. We were honored to oblige. Steve was supportive in our Collective mission to help people out of poverty. He and Elizabeth donated professional attire, homemade goods around the holidays, their talents, network, and most importantly their love to advance our mission of disrupting homelessness with dignity.

We at Collective Chicago provide the most dignified affordable housing in Chicago. Your donation also supports free access to therapy, financial advising, life-coaching, gym access and many other practical needs like transit, and access to technology. Our effectiveness is truly unique, coming in without a home, our residents graduate in an average of 8 months into an apartment of their own with approximately $6,000 in savings.

Your support, alongside other friends and family of Steve will help further our impact in the lives of young Chicagoans experiencing homelessness.
