We started this project as a way to help to meet the financial needs of our fellow students and build networks to redistribute the wealth on campus. Our goal is not to be charity, but to be a form of student solidarity and foster community. We are committed to the dismantling of systems that allow inequality to flourish, but we believe in supporting each other to make our community stronger in the meantime.

That means that we rely on your donations! Mutual aid is a form of community cooperation where groups and individuals will offer the resources and time to help people meet their needs.

The fund is not affiliated with the college, but is fiscally sponsored by Cooperation Cannon River (CCR), a local non-profit that allows us to give money to students without having to wait for donations to be transferred through the banks. In order to sustain this fiscal sponsorship and cover administrative fees, CCR takes 5% of all donations.

We are committed to building solidarity and transparency and encourage anyone and everyone to work together.
