Portland is the LAST major city in the United States where a thriving independent music ecosystem exists WITHOUT a Live Nation-owned venue. We need your help to keep it that way!

Why this matters:

🙌 Portland has a multi-billion dollar independent music-driven economy.

👎 The Live Nation/Ticketmaster monopoly has the potential to destroy that economy by unfairly dominating it with a new venue, which is the first step in their playbook to take down other venues.

🛑 We must do everything in our power as Portlanders to stop Live Nation and demand a local owner/operator instead. (We're for the venue, just not Live Nation.)

🟢 Our best shot at stopping Live Nation from breaking ground is appealing their Land Use permit and telling Portland City Council to Cancel the Live Nation/Ticketmaster Deal.

We've already hired land use lawyers ($$) and will be filing legal documents to appeal the land use permit to Portland City Council ($$$). We're going to be printing materials ($) for outreach to our music community and the public. We'll be coordinating a rally ($$) to activate an army of supporters to speak up and show up at City Hall.
