đź’– A Celebration of Authenticity: You Belong Here. So Does Your Story. đź’–

Thank you for arriving. Whether you scanned a QR code, followed a link, or were invited by someone who believes in this work, you’re here.

And that means something.

At The P.L.A.Y. Education Corporation [P.L.A.Y.], we believe joy is resistance and inclusion is non‑negotiable. Every child, every family, every story deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated, exactly as they are.

This donation form isn’t just a transaction.
It’s a declaration:
✨ Authenticity is powerful.
✨ Belonging is essential.
✨ Every story deserves space to shine.

🧧 Why Your Gift Matters

Your donation helps us bring culturally affirming storytelling directly into trusted community spaces, places where Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) children and families feel seen, welcomed and affirmed. It sustains programming that strengthens identity, connection, and representation, all of which are essential protective factors for youth.

And because every gift tells a story, here’s the one you’re helping write.

✨ Stories That Connect Us: An AANHPI Heritage Celebration

Featuring New York Times Bestselling Author Joanna Ho
Friday, May 15th, 2026 — Boulder • Denver • Broomfield–Erie

Stories That Connect Us is a multi‑site, community‑led celebration designed to strengthen belonging, representation, and social connection for AANHPI children, families, educators, and allies.

Three public events will be hosted across trusted community spaces in the Denver metro area and Northern Colorado, reducing barriers related to cost, transportation, and unfamiliarity.

Joanna Ho’s award‑winning books, Eyes That Kiss in the Corners, Eyes That Speak to the Stars, We Who Produce Pearls, Say My Name, and Playing at the Border, center identity, intergenerational resilience, and cultural affirmation. Her stories help children see themselves reflected with pride and give families shared language to support confidence, social‑emotional well‑being, and belonging.

This initiative is powered by more than eight AANHPI‑serving partners, including nonprofits, small businesses, libraries, schools, foundations, and public agencies. Together, we are building a celebration rooted in visibility, healing, and community connection.

✨ What We’ve Achieved Together

  • 🌺 Community‑Led Partnerships — Bringing together AANHPI‑serving organizations across Denver and Northern Colorado.

  • 📚 Culturally Affirming Storytelling — Delivering identity‑centered stories directly into accessible, familiar spaces.

  • 🤝 Cross‑Sector Collaboration — Convening partners who rarely share space to advance health equity.

  • 🌱 Protective Factor Strengthening — Supporting identity, confidence, connection, and representation for AANHPI youth.

✨ Where You Come In: What Your Gift Makes Possible

Every contribution is a chapter in the story of belonging. Your gift directly funds:
