About D.M. Samms and Storm Breakers Effective Biblical Counseling
My name is D.M. Samms, and I am a Biblical Counselor dedicated to helping individuals overcome depression through the transformative power of God’s Word. Since being born again in 2004, I have devoted my life to building God's Kingdom—preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the streets of California and sharing the hope of salvation with all who would listen.
My passion for this ministry is deeply personal. For much of my life, I struggled under the weight of depression, enduring seasons of deep despair and emotional isolation. But during a particularly difficult five-year battle, the Lord began to reveal to me Biblical principles for breaking free from what Scripture refers to as the "spirit of heaviness." Through His grace, I experienced lasting freedom, and that breakthrough became the foundation for my life’s calling.
Out of this victory, Storm Breakers was born—a ministry rooted in a God-given vision to help others silence the storms of depression through Biblical truth. I authored my first book, Storm Breakers: Silence the Storm of Depression, now available on Amazon and in our shop, to share these life-changing insights with others.
Following the publication of the book, God directed me to launch Storm Breakers Effective Biblical Counseling—a place where individuals facing mental and emotional battles can receive compassionate, Scripture-based counseling and practical tools for healing and renewal.
Because I received this freedom from God without cost, I am committed to offering it freely to others. That’s why our 2025 goal is to provide Biblical counseling to 1,000 individuals at no charge—and we cannot do it without your help.
Your prayers and financial support are vital to this mission. Every donation goes directly toward equipping others with the spiritual guidance they need to break free from the bondage of depression and reclaim their lives through Christ.
Join us in this life-changing work. Together, we can bring hope, healing, and restoration to those who need it most.
