Story
General Services Foundation's Strength In Numbers event concludes our Students In Service summer initiative in which young students were taught to host their own item drives for Porch Raleigh, Book Harvest, or Note in the Pocket. Each student is provided with a toolkit that breaks down the process of hosting the drive, empowering them by helping them complete their first service initiative. Students will be able to bring their items to the event and learn firsthand about the impact they made through conversations with the nonprofits they supported. We want to inspire youth to engage in their community and showcase the amazing work our members have done.
Come out to our Strength In Numbers event for an evening full of fun, food, and service! This event is a showcase of the power of the community coming together, especially the power of youth becoming changemakers. Learn about the impact of General Services Foundation and other community organizations by visiting our vendor booths and listening to guest speakers, including our very own Executive Director. Come by anytime to participate in service activities such as kindness rock painting, drop off your drive items, learn about getting involved in your community, and grab some Papa Murphy's pizza for a delicious bite.
When signing up, you consent to potentially have photos taken and shared from the day of the event. You will also be added to our monthly newsletter that you may opt-out of.
