Strong Arm Food Bank is a volunteer-led 501 c 3 organization in Albertville, AL that was started in the year 2000 by Larry Huffstetler. The food bank connects
Food Pantries and other ministries that serve hungry people to grocery distributors who need to have an organized method of moving products into the hands of people who need it.

We can all agree that No one should have to go hungry, especially in a world with as much wealth as ours. But the sad reality is that more than 821 million people are currently suffering from hunger. That's one in nine people on earth who don't have enough to eat. As we discussed, 79% of the students in Albertville City Schools are documented to experience food insecurity. With rising prices, the need for a efficient, sustainable food bank in our community has never been greater.

While hunger is a complex problem with many root causes. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, but there are things that we can do to help bring an end to hunger.

Each one of us can do something — whether through combating food waste or supporting nonprofits. We can work together to take care of our neighbors in need.
