OGA Associate Level

The purpose of Orton-Gillingham Academy Associate Level Training is to prepare educators and practitioners for advanced, individualized literacy instruction grounded in the full depth and rigor of the Orton-Gillingham approach.

This pathway develops deep diagnostic and prescriptive teaching skills. Participants learn how to analyze student error patterns, design highly individualized lesson plans, and deliver systematic, explicit instruction for students with persistent reading difficulties.

This pathway is ideal for educators who:

Deliver 1:1 or very small-group (2–3 students) intervention
Serve students with dyslexia or significant reading challenges
Want to build advanced diagnostic expertise
Are pursuing formal credentialing through the Orton-Gillingham Academy

This training includes the option to complete the supervised practicum required for Associate-Level certification.

Best suited for:
Reading Interventionists, Special Educators, Literacy Coaches, and practitioners providing intensive intervention.

Step 2: Submit $500 Deposit (goes towards $2000 coursework)

This deposit:

Secures your place in the cohort
Is applied toward your total training balance
Allows us to finalize materials, faculty planning, and cohort size

Your seat is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
