Summer of Support

Did you know that summer is the busiest time of year for the Ferndale Food Bank? With schools out, many children no longer have access to school meals, which leads to an increase in need for food assistance. In fact, 30% of the people served by food banks during the summer are children.

In June, we partnered with three Ferndale companies to gather an incredible 6,000 lbs of food to keep our shelves stocked in July. Now, as we prepare for August, we need your help to match the efforts of our corporate partners and keep our shelves full through the rest of the summer.
