What your contribution provides:

$500 pays for two hours of legal representation as we prepare for upcoming State and County hearings (Affected Party Status) and request public hearings.
Recommended donation: $250 pays for one hour of legal representation, a critical component of our campaign against the Lowry Ranch CAP.
$100 helps defray the cost of printing bilingual educational materials that raise awareness among community members; one-click emails that enable concerned residents to easily contact their local and state representatives and ECMC; canvassing and town hall events; and more.

What’s at stake:

The outcome of the Sunlight-Long decision will have profound, life-altering effects on our community.

The Sunlight-Long well pad is in the final stage of approval with a Virtual public hearing on April 21 . This proposed 32 well pad spans 35 acres and is located just 0.6 miles from the nearest Southshore homes and the Aurora Reservoir, bringing fracking activities directly beneath homes and schools. Everything our community organization has fought for over the past three years hinges on this crucial hearing.

Garnered the support of U.S. Congressman Jason Crow, who subsequently issued a press release and contacted the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regarding our concerns.

First citizens organization to be granted Affected Party status by the ECMC. This allows our community a voice with legal representation at the formal hearings for Sunlight-Long wellpad.
