In 1976, four women created A Woman's Place, Bucks County's only domestic response organization. Now, 49 years later, we are thrilled to host our second annual Sunset Soiree on the Delaware on Thursday, May 29.

The event includes live music, food, drinks, and a short program. While we’ll be mixing and mingling as the sun sets at the riverfront home of our gracious host, Tina Greenwood, former board president, the event does support a very serious cause: ending domestic violence.

In a given year, A Woman’s Place provides 11,000 hours of counseling and therapy, 5,000 nights of emergency housing, 1,800 hours of court accompaniment, and 3,000 answered calls on our domestic violence hotline. Funds raised at the Soiree support these vital activities for survivors as well as our outreach programs to prevent domestic violence.

With potential changes in federal funding, the need to raise funds for our critical work has grown. Our goal is to raise $100,000 at the Sunset Soiree. Your support helps us get there!

If you do not yet know the names of all your guests, please record your own name for any unknown ticket holder (select "apply all") and share the names of guests when you have them in the future.
