When a child is on hospice, the medical care is covered. The bills are not. Every day in Southern California, families with a child on hospice face an impossible situation. The nurses come, the medications are there, but the rent is still due. The refrigerator is still empty and a parent has stopped working to be at the bedside. There is a sibling falling apart with nobody to talk to, and at the end of it all - there is a funeral nobody can afford.

No family should have to worry about how they will bury their child while their child is still alive. We make sure they don't. The EverHeld Foundation provides direct financial assistance - paying rent, utilities, groceries, gas, sibling support and funeral costs - so that parents can put it all down and simply be present with their child. Payments go directly to vendors on behalf of families. We keep our overhead lean and intentional. The vast majority of every dollar donated supports families directly - and every operational dollar we spend makes it possible to reach more families in need of help.
