In New York City, thousands of kids grow up just blocks from the ocean, yet many never get the chance to experience it.

Surfing isn’t just a sport.
It’s confidence.
It’s resilience.

Brooklyn Surf Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing free surf lessons, mentorship, and community to kids across NYC — regardless of financial background.

Since launching, we have:

• Delivered 600+ free surf lessons

• Served 200+ families

• Built a network of 80+ volunteers

• Partnered with organizations like Patagonia, Bellevue Hospital, and Brooklyn Music School

And we’re just getting started.

Why This Matters
