Support Climate & Health Equity

At the Climate and Health Equity Foundation, we believe that communities should not have to face the health consequences of climate change without the knowledge, resources, and support needed to respond. Climate hazards - from flooding and extreme heat to worsening air quality - are already shaping the health of neighborhoods across the country and globally. Yet the communities most affected are often those with the least access to information, preparedness resources, and institutional support.

CHEF works to close that gap. By advancing climate and health education, supporting community leadership through programs such as the Community Climate & Health Ambassadors initiative, and partnering with local organizations and public institutions, we help communities strengthen their capacity to anticipate, prepare for, and respond to climate-related health risks.

Our vision is a future in which communities are not merely reacting to climate impacts, but are equipped with the knowledge, leadership, and partnerships necessary to protect public health and build lasting resilience.
