Mission Statement- The CREED Foundation empowers underserved entrepreneurs in Birmingham's Civil Rights District and beyond with community-centered education, hands-on technical mentorship, and resources that create sustainable business growth.

The CREED Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding economic opportunity by supporting entrepreneurs, small business owners, and emerging leaders; particularly those in historically underserved communities. Through education, mentorship, and access to critical resources, the Foundation works to remove barriers that often prevent promising entrepreneurs from starting, sustaining, and scaling their businesses.

At the center of this work is CREED63, a collaborative coworking and innovation hub located in Birmingham’s historic Civil Rights District. CREED63 serves as a gathering place where entrepreneurs, creatives, and community leaders connect, learn, and grow together. The space provides affordable offices, coworking memberships, meeting rooms, and event spaces that allow small businesses and startups to operate in a professional and supportive environment.

Through the Foundation’s flagship initiative, the PACE Program (Providing Access to Capital Equality), entrepreneurs participate in a structured program that helps them build strong financial foundations for their businesses. Participants work alongside accountants, legal advisors, and business mentors to establish bookkeeping systems, improve credit, formalize business structures, and prepare for investment and lending opportunities. By equipping entrepreneurs with the tools to understand cash flow, manage risk, and build wealth, the program helps create stronger businesses and stronger communities.

Together, CREED Foundation and CREED63 are building an ecosystem where entrepreneurs are not only inspired but also equipped with the knowledge, support, and resources needed to succeed. Donations to the CREED Foundation directly support programming, mentorship, and access to capital initiatives that empower local entrepreneurs and strengthen Birmingham’s small business community for generations to come.
